Q: How much does it cost to become a vendor on Knode? What’s included?

A: We offer one standard membership package for $55 USD per month. This gets you:

• Vendor profile on vendor directory
• 4 product and/or service listings
• Access to the private project board
• Direct messages
• Offers to project owners
• Project submission on the project board

Q: Can I have more than 4 listings? What other add-ons are available?

A: Yes, you can add up to 4 additional listings (a maximum of 8 total). A description of membership add-ons and their fees can be found here.

Q: Can I have more than 4 listings?

A: Of course. Additional listings are available. You can also choose to verify or highlight your listings, bumping you to the top of your categories page results and user search results for a limited time.

Q: How do I know the right project owners are going to find my listings on Knode?

A: We get the directory in front of the people you want. After 10 years in the industry, we recognize the most valued prospects for our vendors include project managers, project coordinators, interior designers, architects, developers, business owners, event planners, office managers, property managers and professionals alike. We want to ensure Knode grows to suit our vendors, so if there is a target market you’d like us to gear our outreach towards then let us know. Each vendor profile and listing page is fully optimized, increasing visibility beyond the platform. That means that someone googling “outdoor planter supply in Vancouver” is likely to show up as a search result, and then direct them to that vendor profile on Knode. Our SEO and Ads team analyzes this data frequently to tweak or campaigns accordingly. 

Q: How long do you run ads for each market?

A: As soon as a region’s vendor seats fill, we launch an ongoing campaign targeting the assumed ‘seekers’ in that region.

Q: Do I have to wait for my region to open to submit an application?

A: No. If you’d like to get ahead of the game in your region, or your offerings are available across a broader region you can definitely join Knode early. This will also allow your profile and listings pages to begin indexing to make that SEO machine happy. Apply now.

Q: Does my company have to directly offer the product or service? What if we sub-contract?

A: No, if you have a proven business model of sub-contracting that was included in your application that is fine. There are various ways you can set up your listings to ensure the project owners understand this is your model. For example, Living Wall + Supplier, Contractor. 

Q: Why does Knode cap the quantity of listings per category?

A: We do this for a few reasons. First, it provides solid value for our vendors knowing they are not getting lost in a sea of competitors in their region. Second, it provides qualified and vetted results for our seekers. This also allows our team to ensure that each category has offerings per region, providing growth opportunities for various businesses in the green design-build industry.

Q: How big is a region?

A: We have created two region sizes: Metro Market (~2M) and Major Market (~2M+). This allows listing seat availability to scale appropriately with the size and search demand of each market.

Q: How long are region applications open for? Can I apply now if my region is not open?

A: Applications are ongoing. If you’d like to get ahead of the game in your region, or your offerings are available across a broader region you can definitely join Knode early. This will also allow your profile and listings pages to begin indexing to make that SEO machine happy. Apply now.

Q: Will my business get other visibility on Knode?

A: Yes. Knode has a rolling editorial and social media calendar that offers spotlights and shared feature spaces for our paying vendors. Special projects and more will be included there as well as in our email newsletter. Knode also makes an effort to strategically partner with industry publications to share information about the platform and it’s vendors.

Q: Can I cancel my subscription? What if I change my mind and want my seats back?

A: Absolutely, you can cancel no questions asked. You will be refunded a pro-rated amount for the month of cancellation which is effective immediately. Of course we would welcome back any vendors with an updated application, however if there is a wait list for your desired categories you may not receive your previous seats back.

A: There are currently 18 (eighteen) categories. They include:

Membership Inclusion Details

Monthly vendor memberships cost $55 USD per month and include the following:

4 Product/Service Listings	Fully optimized pages for each offering including scope, portfolio images, descriptions, and any other details you want to include
Project Board Access	Current opportunities posted regularly in your region. Search and filter requests based on what you’re looking for, and use the geolocation map to narrow down regions
Direct Messages	Knode’s integrated messaging allows you to message project owners, decision makers and other vendors in real-time. No middle person
Offers to Project Owners	See an opportunity on the project board you want to submit a proposal for? Send an offer to the project owner, or ask any questions to get more info in hand
Project Submission	When you discover an opportunity on the project board you want to submit a proposal for, simply send an offer to the project owner, or ask them a question
Add-ons		Cost
Additional Listings	Add up to 4 additional listings to the directory and your vendor profile page	$8/listing per month (to a maxiumum of 8 total)
Priority Placement	Prioritize any of your listings to appear at the top of the search results page for 7 days at a time	$8/listing per week
Verified Pages	Show project owners you’re serious about the work you do. Verify your vendor profile and/or listings	$5/page per month
